Summer Research

May 22 – July 28, 2017
SURP offers a 10-week summer research and professional development program for undergraduates who plan to pursue careers as biomedical scientists. Students can choose to work in one of seven different disciplines. The program is designed for students completing their sophomore or junior years of college.  Students receive financial aid.


May 30 – August 4, 2017
Each summer, the Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh (CNUP) sponsors a 10-week program in which selected undergraduate students conduct independent research under the guidance of individual CNUP training faculty.


May 22 – July 28, 2017
BBSI@Pitt provides a unique training experience to students wishing to explore the field of computational biology by providing an opportunity for talented students to learn quantitative computer modeling methods at multiple scales in the Life Sciences (molecular to cellular).
