Graduation Dates

December 2022 Graduation

Now through September 30, 2022: December graduation applications due online without a late fee

October 1, 2022 – December 1, 2022: Applications due with a $25 late fee

December 17, 2022: Official degree date for December 2022 graduates

December 23, 2022: Final certification deadline.  All ETDs and paperwork due

January 12, 2023: Transcripts with degrees posted for December 2022 available through the Transcript Office (G-3 Thackeray Hall)

January 31, 2023: Begin mailing diplomas for the December 2022 graduates

April 2023 Graduation

Now through November 30, 2022: April 2023 graduation applications due online without a late fee

December 1, 2022 – April 1, 2023: Applications due with a $25 late fee

April 29, 2023: Official degree date for April 2023 graduates

May 8, 2023: Final certification deadline.  All ETDs and paperwork due

May 31, 2023: Transcripts with degrees posted for April 2023 available through the Transcript Office (G-3 Thackeray Hall)

June 19, 2023: Begin mailing diplomas for the April 2023 graduates

MS with Thesis

If you are an MS student, graduating with a Master's Thesis, review the checklist of things you need to submit to graduate:

  • Submitted ETD Acceptable Approved
  • Submitted ETD Revisions Needed
  • 2 Defense Milestone Forms (MS Thesis approval and defense report)
  • ETD Approval Form (all original signature required)
  • Processing Receipt ($50 fee)
  • 3 Copies of Title Page
  • 3 Copies of Abstract with Initials
  • 1 Copy of Committee Page
  • Submitted Alumni Form 
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

MS (without Thesis)

Your program coordinator will give you information on paperwork that needs to be filled out. Once you have that ready, you just have to drop it off at our office, and please fill out the online Alumni Form.
