Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP)

June 1 - July 30, 2021

SURP offers a 9-week summer research and professional development program for undergraduates who plan to pursue careers as biomedical scientists. Students can choose to work in one of seven different disciplines. The program is designed for students completing their sophomore or junior years of college.  Students receive financial aid.

Neuroscience:CNUP Summer Undergraduate Research Program

May 26 - July 31, 2020

Each summer, the Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh (CNUP) sponsors a 10-week program in which selected undergraduate students conduct independent research under the guidance of individual CNUP training faculty.

Training and Experimentation in Computational Biology (TECBio REU @ Pitt)

May 26 - July 31, 2020

TECBio REU@Pitt is a 10-week summer program that will provide a challenging and fulfilling graduate-level research experience to undergraduate students. Students receive classroom training in topics pertinent to the emerging field of computational biology, such as computational structural biology, cell and systems modeling, computational genomics, and bioimage informatics.
