Biomedical Informatics
The Biomedical Informatics Certificate Program serves students with a wide variety of goals and backgrounds. For this reason, each certificate trainee’s program of study will be developed will be developed with and approved by their biomedical informatics advisor.

Clinical and Translational Science for Doctoral Students in the Health Sciences
The Certificate in Clinical and Translational Science for Doctoral Students in the Health Sciences supplements and enhances doctoral programs in basic science, clinical research, and other fields. The program provides an opportunity for students in these programs to learn the skills needed to conduct high-quality clinical and translational research.

Health Professions Education
The Certificate in Health Professions Education enhances the professional education and teaching skills of clinical faculty and community preceptors. This certificate program is flexible and allows students to choose courses within the Health Professions Education program that align with their learning and professional goals.

Hearing and Vision Sciences Certificate
The goal of the graduate certificate in Hearing and Vision Sciences (HVS) program is to train the next generation of hearing and vision scientists in basic and translational research. Students must first be admitted into a doctoral degree granting program in one of the graduate programs of the University of Pittsburgh prior to applying to the HVS graduate certificate program.
